Save the Planet! |
 |
In today’s day and age,
people recognize the need to protect and conserve
the environment. With concerns that the planet
is going to overheat due to what is known as the
‘Greenhouse
Effect’ , we are simply removing
too much indigenous flora and (often from this)
fauna, and we are cutting down more trees than
our environment can sustain. This is known as
deforestation.
Some of the worst results of all of this are the
reduction in the amount of drinkable water. Do
they have a point? The question is certainly worth
investigating.
The ‘Greenhouse Effect’ theory,
supported by an overwhelming amount of scientists
around the world, stipulates that the world’s
accumulated industry - the cars, factories, power
plants, chemicals, and technology that we have
relied on to advance our civilization, have released
polluting gases, e.g. carbon dioxide, into the
earth’s atmosphere. This acts like a blanket,
trapping the sun’s rays and causing the
planet to heat up like a greenhouse. This negative
development affects the planet’s regular
weather patterns and causes widespread devastation
throughout the continents with flood, drought
and the desolation of delicate ecosystems,
with the reduction of breathable air, the stripping
away of sustainable farmlands and the desertification
of vast tracts of land.
Plants and trees, through a process known as photosynthesis,
soak up sunlight and carbon dioxide to turn them
into oxygen, and when trees are felled they release
those carbons that they have stored away back
into the atmosphere. Grave fears are held for
the long-time viability of the planet due to this
phenomenon, and the public is becoming evermore
concerned about it.
Water, also vital to our survival, is becoming
scarcer, due to drought, increased demand from
an ever-increasing population and the polar
ice caps, our frozen fresh water
reserves, melting into the sea from the Greenhouse
Effect.
So, in order to help remedy and reverse the
situation, it is considered both wise and forward
thinking to grow more indigenous native trees
and to do so utilising the most efficient and
conserving method of water handling.
At Native Growth Holdings, we have developed
an entire range of water saving devices, products
and techniques in order to ensure the maximum
survivability of plants with the most efficient
use of water.
An example of this is one of our products called
Water
Tube™ represent a method to
break this vicious cycle by positively effecting
plant growth while minimising water usage and
thereby contributing significantly to your triple-bottom
line. That is, helping the planet, boosting your
plant yield and benefiting your bank balance.
