Hardy, drought resistant perennial to 0.5m....... WHEN TO SOW - In warm areas or in a glasshouse sow seeds at any time. In frost prone areas sow when danger of frost is over....... WHERE TO GROW - Full sun/part shade. Any soil type. Garden or pot....... SOWING. - Fill a pot or seed tray to 2.5cm from top with moist sandy soil. Sow seeds on top and compress lightly. Add Wildflower Seed Starter liquid or granules to surface. Or place 7-10cm of dry leaves on the soil and set alight, Remove burnt debris, lightly scuff the surface of the soil, then sow seeds, Keep Moist. Cover with clear polythene - remove when seeds germinate. Place in warm shaded position to germinate (2 - 5 weeks)....... CULTIVATION - Transplant to single containers when large enough to handle. Keep well watered. Pot on or plant out at 7.5cm high. Water in well, water regularly until established then occasionally in dry weather. Use light applications of low phosphate organic fertilizer.
